A couple of miles from Page, on the highway to Zion, there's this 'little of the road hike' to a landscape that is just waiting to be a scene in a Star Trek movie.
We were lucky that during our second visit in 2002 to this earea a local photographer told us about this place.
If you want the precise location of these hoodoo's, go and visit the Paria Information Station, which is in Utah, 30 miles northwest of Page on US 89 near Milepost 21.
In northwestern New Mexico, south of farmington, an extraordinair landscape can be found. The soil is not as colourfull as the Rimrocks mentioned above, but the shapes and landscape is of a complete different beauty. Click here to go to the Bisti page.
