3 january 2008 - Still haven't found time to sort out all the photo's from our last USA trip. But I've completely redone the 'best of the west' page with lots of new photo's and some old classics.

16 november 2007 - We just got back from a 4 week trip through Utah, Arizona and more... Of course Death Valley was list again!

- 1 october 2007 - Just upped the promo shoot for Rairif, a north african Rai-band.

- 22 september 2007 - The opening of the exhibiton, at the 5 year 'oude garde' party was a big blast, lot's of bands played, although I only was able to see 2 of them... Here are the pics of the cafe gig of the fabulous Pedro Delgados (ex-Skidmarks). The exhibition is at the Perron 55 in Venlo and is open until october 21th.

- 21 september 2007 - Today is the big party "5 years of punk'n'roll collective OudeGarde". It is celebrated with an exhibition featuring pics I shot the last 5 years at there concerts and with perfomance of The Apers (!) and others... The exhibition is at the Perron 55 in Venlo and is open until october 21th.

- 28 august 2007 - Dinosaur JR played a scorching show at the Effenaar in Eindhoven, not a big surprise since it was a reunion of their first line up inclucing Murph and Lou (Sebadoh)...

So for new visitors of my website, friends, fans and clients I've made a little introduction to my work; a portfolio in 5 chapters, each containing 5 photos with a short explanation of the theme of the chapter. Here it is: portfolio
- 11 december 2006 - A couple of month ago I got an email from the management of Peter Pan Speedrock, they wanted to use some photo's I've shot of their band for a DVD. Now the DVD is in the store and that's my photo on the cover!
- 30 november 2006 - The last couple of weeks I did some promo-shoots for two bands. The dreamstealers (B&W shoot, colorshoot) are known as the backing band for Dutch singer-songwriter Stevie Ann.

- 6 october 2006 - Just got word that I'm one of the three finalists for the "Photographer of the Year Award" on IgoUgo, the biggest online travelcommunity and partner of my favorite travelbook publishing company Rough Guide. Last year I allready won the "Photo of Distinction" award. So if you are a member, please vote!
- 1 october 2006 - Work on our new house is almost done! See also the link to my weblog in the menu. Hope to upload some new photo's in the near future!

- 17 august 2006 - Had to redo the erotica section. So there's a new chapter and some old ones were deleted.
- 8 juli 2006 - We saw the Queers play at an almost empty concerthall (shame, shame!), but the band rocked the roof of the place anyway!

- 21 june 2006 - If you are living in the Netherlands, try to get a copy of the latest issue of Zoom.nl Magazine. Zoom.nl is the biggest Dutch photomagazine and this month issue has the (photo)reportage that I and two other lucky photographers made in Jordan.
But it also has a 6 page (!) feature and interview with the owner of this website... that's me!
- 20 june 2006 - I've decided that I will continue my webblog that I started for our Florida trip and make it public. A link is in the main menu. Sorry, but the entries about the trip are in Dutch, but the recent entries and the ones before the trip are in English. - 2 june 2006 - In New York on our way back we caught one of the last shows in the legendary club CBGB's by one of our favorite bands, Ignite...
- 1 june 2006 - We're back from a 4 week trip to the south east of the USA (drove from Key West to New Orleans).
The trip didn't go as planned, we had a lot of bad luck with the weather and our health. But we had several highlight and ofcoarse were devestated by the damage of Huricane Katrina!

- 31 march 2006 - Yes! I've won the 1st price in the zoom.nl photocontest; a 5 day trip to Jordan in the Middle East! Still can't believe it...
- 10 march 2006 - The latest isue of City Life Magazine, has an article about the renovation of the cathedral wich features a selection of the photoseries I shot inside the St. Christoff cathedral last month.
- 28 feb 2006 - Made 4th place in the photo-contest of the latest isue of Zoom Magazine... so no price for me... damn! But I got some nice reactions on my published pics in Modern Painters (UK) about Istanbul... thanx for that!
- 2 feb 2006 - I was asked to shoot a photoseries about the St. Christoff Cathedral in Roermond, after the renovation of the interior.
- 8 jan 2006 - Scored two "photolocations of the week" features in a row on worldphotolocations.com! For the second time in a year!

- 14 dec 2005 - Made the coverphoto for Elmore Magazine, USA!
This nationalmagazine about roots music is doing a feature on the New Orleans music scene after hurricane Katrina and used one of my rainy N.O. photo's for their coverstory!

- 1 dec 2005 - "Hollands Zicht" is just released and availlable in bookstores (sorry, only in the Netherlands). It's a great photobook produced by the Dutch Photography Museum in association with the AVRO-TV-network and it shows how Dutch Photographers see their own homeland. And yes, I'm in it too....
